Our Story
In 1959 Mr Krishna Murari Gupta, alongwith his brothers founded GOPAL KRISHNA & BROTHERS (GKB), in Agra- India, which ventured into lens manufacturing. In 1994 Krishna Murari Gupta along with his son Aditya Gupta, started GKB OPTICALS LIMITED and we have in subsequent years established companies in Noida – India, United Kingdom, South Africa and UAE.
GKB OPTICALS FZE and GKB SUNVUE EYEWEAR are both UAE based ventures of our group founded by Mr Aditya Gupta. From UAE we focus on worldwide lens supplies ( thru GKB OPTICALS FZE) , lens supplies to the UAE domestic market ( thru GKB SUNVUE EYEWEAR) and for the South African market (thru PRECISION OPTICAL SOUTH AFRICA).
Our founder Mr Aditya Gupta, who is a Computer Science Engineer from Bangalore University, joined the family business in 1992 and has over the subsequent years been responsible for establishing various group companies in India, UK, South Africa and UAE. Lens manufacturing of highest standards , understanding well the needs of our customers , utilizing the latest of techniques in IT and a very keen eye on providing best services to our customers is our constant mission.
